The first quarterly member luncheon meeting of the New Year was held on Tuesday, January 24th at the Whitehouse United Methodist Church fellowship hall at 12:00pm. Members and guests were treated to a lunch and a Chamber event update by Phil Rogers, then a question and answer session with Matt Schaefer who is working toward the Republican nomination for the District 6 seat in the Texas House of Representatives. Incumbent Rep. Leo Berman was scheduled to be present for a debate, however he was taken ill and could not attend.
