Pictures from the 2011 Christmas Parade & WinterFest

Hundreds of people turned out for the Whitehouse Christmas Parade & Winterfest which was held Saturday, December 10th.  The parade started at 4:30pm and started from Whitehouse Junior High, ending at Holloway Middle School.  Starting at 3:00pm, WinterFest and the Kris Kringle Mart were entertaining visitors at City Park.  Musical entertainment began at 6:00pm lasting until 8:00pm and with the chilly temperatures, it was good that hot beverages and food were sold by the Whitehouse High Culinary Arts Class.  Carnival games with prizes sponsored by local businesses and people were a hit with the young crowd, along with a bounce house and children’s activities.  Santa made his arrival after the parade and sat for pictures with the kids.  It was a great day!

A big THANK YOU goes out to the following organization and people for helping make this day a success:
* Parade emcees and float judges: Mayor Danny Hogden and Pastor Lori Eilers from First Assembly Church
