The first quarterly member lunch meeting was held Tuesday, January 24th at the Whitehouse United Methodist fellowship hall. After a lunch, members and guests listened to an update on Chamber events by Phil Rogers, and a question & answer session with Matt Schaefer, Challenger for the Republican seat in District 6 in the Texas House of Representatives.

Valerie Durst was the winner of the first Facebook Friday promotion of the year. Karen Wood of Karen's Health Foods was the sponsor of the gift.

The Chamber of Commerce board members met early on the morning of Saturday, November 12th to install the lighted Christmas decorations at the corner of FM 346 & Hwy 110, and in front of City Park. The second Show & Shine was dubbed "First Thursday showNshine" as the Whitehouse Chamber will now hold these events every month, on the first Thursday of the month. A great time was had by all who came, about 30 cars were on hand, and families turned out to see them and enjoy the music and conversation with their neighbors!
